The best part of volunteering for the Sowers Ministry for me, besides serving The Lord, is meeting new friends. They make a mark on your heart that is there forever. We do look forward to serving together again one day.

What a week it has been here at the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove.

We are here with our Sowers group volunteering and amazing is about the only word I can think of to describe this place. Charlie is working in the radio station here on the premises, painting the inside of the building. I am working in the administrative building making copies and putting together the training manuals for groups that come here for training.

Today we took a tour of the facilities here and I just have to tell you I was in awe throughout the whole tour. You would not believe the gifts from people in various countries given to the Grahams over the years. We even got to see Billy's office that overlooks the Blue Ridge Mountains. That office is only used by Franklin when he is in town, otherwise it stays vacant and it has the best view in the whole place.

Just seeing the various people that this man Billy Graham has touched gave me chill bumps. I would definitely put this on my bucket list if you'd never been here.

Just to let you know, the steeple in the picture is 80 feet long and the cross on top is 8 feet tall. The chapel was gorgeous, but only used for tours.

Just finished up the LPC3 project in Lake Placid, FL. It seems to always be bitter sweet when you finish a project because you are leaving some of the most inspiring and God fearing people who inspire you with there Love of for the Lord. We will miss you Tom and Mollie Bontrager and Rick and Linda Osman. It's been great working with you! 💖

This past week at our Sower's project in Lake Placid, Charlie and I both were asked to paint buildings. The men painted outside and the women painted inside. I now have 2 sets of paint clothes. I am learning so much and having so much fun. The people here are so friendly and the food is amazing!

We are getting spoiled because they have a chef and a restaurant here and they serve us breakfast, lunch and dinner, and it's all free of charge. That's their way of thanking us for help them out!

Lake Placid Camp and Conference Center is a Nazerene facility and this morning Charlie and I was able to attend the Church of Nazerene here in Lake Placid. What a blessing that was. They are having revival all week long.

We had a wonderful day yesterday with all of the Sower's couples. We were off work, so we took a tour at another Sower's project called HEART. What they do is prepare missionaries to go to 3rd world countries by training them how to live in a primitive manner by growing their own food, a lot of which are plants that edible and are not grown in USA, also mango, banana's, cabbage, etc. They also train to raise livestock, pigs, chickens and goats, as well as living primitive with no electric, cell phones, and they must use outhouses. The do have cabins to stay with beds and kitchen hall that only cooks what they grow and raise. They get a lot of college students there and the students receive college credits for taking the course. The courses are 3 weeks or 15 weeks. It was pretty amazing to see.

I have brochure if anyone would like to see it.

Last night we all went to a concert and saw two gospel bands. The and The Sound. I was really impressed with The Sound as there were two young men and their father. They sure could harmonize.
