2 of my granddaughters at the country fair.

My son was diagnosed with NF in September 2021.

My son had a mosquito bite on his right buttock, which unbeknownst to us, it developed into NF and started to eat, attack and infected the tissue, fat and muscle below the surface.
Within 3 days he had 3 emergency surgeries to remove toxic flesh from his buttock and other areas of his body.
He has between a 26 to 27 inch incision by 25 inches deep that was left open to heal, have debrieing, unpacking and repacking 4 times a day, he spent 2 weeks in critical care, 2 weeks in ICU and 2 months in a Wound Care Center.
I have started a fundraiser for my Son, Alley to help with the cost of medical supplies, medication, special garments and expenses that the insurance company will no longer cover.

Regardless if you decide to help or not educate yourself, family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers about NF.
It can happen to anyone at anytime, no matter the age, race, s*x, creed or religious beliefs.
