We're so proud of all the students and schools that participated in this year's compteition. The future of the automotive industry is in great hands. 🔧

When you have a vehicle with little aftermarket support for exhaust sometimes you need to fab your own. Check out the exhaust that this Transportation Technology Intern, and Saber Manufacturing student made for his Toyota MR2, all TIG welded stainless steel.

Jonah and Zach are your 2026 Technicians of Tomorrow Champions! The competition includes a written test, on car diagnosis and repair of problems, and 8 hands on work stations testing their knowledge of different vehicle systems. Both students were awarded scholarships, tons of tools, gift certificates, and lots of other goodies for their accomplishment.

On Friday, seniors Jonah and Zach will be showcasing their talents at the ADAMM - Automobile Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee Technicians of Tomorrow competition against other top automotive programs from the state of Wisconsin. Special thanks to Wilde Toyota and Hiller Ford for helping prepare these two for the past few months. The event is held at the Greater Milwaukee Auto Show from 9-3. Good luck Jonah and Zach!

Yesterday four Franklin High School Automotive students competed at WCTC's Automotive Skills Competition. The competition included a written test and eight different hands-on stations. There were 16 teams from 12 different area schools and Franklin placed 3rd and 7th. Nice work guys!

Here’s some light reading: “see” what we did there?
State law requires all lights to be clean, aimed correctly and working properly. To check low-beam alignment:
đź’ˇPosition your vehicle about 25 feet away from a wall
đź’ˇUse the adjustment screws to ensure lights are level
💡Beam should be about 2.5 inches below the height your vehicle’s headlight assembly.

This week these nine Transportation Technology 2 students earned their Maintenance, and Light Repair ASE Certification. This certification tests them on their knowledge in 7 different vehicle systems. Congrats on your accomplishment!
