Mobilizing a movement of generosity.

Our lives change.
So should our giving.

Families with donor-advised funds sometimes tell us, “We set this up a few years ago, but we haven’t really revisited our focus since.”

It can be helpful to pause and ask:
- Are there causes we used to support that no longer align with where God is leading us?
- Are there new needs or opportunities God keeps putting in front of us?
- Do our current grants reflect what matters most to us right now?

You are not locked into the priorities you had when you first opened the fund.
You are allowed to refresh and realign.

A simple annual or bi-annual review can turn drifting into direction.

When was the last time you stepped back and asked, “Does our giving still match the season we’re in?”

One of the doors God keeps opening is opportunities to share Ten Talents Foundation's mission with groups of business and ministry leaders.

In March, Brent spoke at CBMC Fresno and challenged them to rethink the questions they're asking in their businesses and personal lives. Instead of "How do I minimize taxes?" or "How do I protect my lifestyle?" What if we asked God-sized questions?

The room was filled with men hungry for their work to matter more. Grateful for these Kingdom conversations and the chance to connect generous leaders with strategic giving tools. Excited to see what God does next.

When people picture generous business owners, they often think of a big check at a fundraising dinner.

That might happen.

But generosity often shows up in much quieter ways inside a company long before that.

Owners can practice generosity by:
- carrying an employee through a hard season
- creating space and flexibility for family needs
- paying suppliers on time, even when cash is tight
- setting aside a small, consistent portion of profits to give, no matter the size

Those decisions rarely make headlines.
But they form a culture.

Then, when bigger opportunities come—a strong year, a sale, or a surplus—the big decisions flow out of years of small, faithful ones.

If you own or lead a business, where do you see generosity already happening quietly—and what’s one next step you could take to deepen that culture?

Giving shouldn’t be overwhelming.

But for some families, it quietly becomes just that.
Requests come from every direction, church, school, friends, community events. Over time, giving turns into a long list of “yes” responses instead of a clear story of calling.

At Ten Talents Foundation, we want to help simplify that.

Together, we helped them identify:
- what breaks their hearts
- where they have seen real fruit in the past
- which people or causes God seems to keep bringing across their path

When you put those answers on paper, something shifts.
Giving moves from scattered to focused, from reactive to intentional.

You don’t have to support everything.
You’re invited to be faithful in the specific places God has entrusted to you.

If you looked at your giving over the last year, would you see your deepest passions reflected, or mostly the loudest requests?
