Inner Inking

I need to take a break from managing the social media accounts for Inner Inking.

A lot has changed for me over the past year, and while I love the community and connections I have made here, I need to refocus my priorities so that I can do a better job of taking care of myself.

I've been burning myself out trying to do it all, and it has started to take a toll on my both my health and my creativity.

Inner Inking is something I started to do because it was something I loved, and I wanted it to stay that way. But right now, that's not how I feel about it. I think I need to give myself the space to step away and recharge and find that passion again.

Additionally, sales have not kept up without me spending money on ads, which, due to low profit margins, kind of just cancels out any sale I would make with them.

I think I also need time to restrategize my approach to how I am posting. With sales down, the number of submissions for me to repost has also decreased, and I am running out of content to share 😅

So what does this mean exactly? I don't know how much time I will need... but I can answer a few of the big questions:

1. I'm not going to be scheduling posts for the time being. But I will do my best to continue to save any posts that I am tagged in to share when I resume. So do keep tagging me on posts of my designs 🙂
2. The Etsy store will remain active, and I will continue to be available for support for customers through the messages function on Etsy.
3. Books will continue to be sold on Amazon
4. I won't have any new products for the near future.
5. New Freebie releases will also be paused for the time being, but existing ones will stay available for download on Ko-fi
6. I may not be as active with liking and commenting on your posts as I won't be on Instagram as much.
