Dashing Disciples

Todays gravel grind brought to you by lines of amber waves of grain strung out in long run on sentences punctuated by creaking oil pumps, ditch tiger lilies, scissor-tailed fly catchers with luxuriant uropygiums, white-tail deer, monarch butterflies, and Ironman socks.

A morning gravel grind, soon-to-be amber waves rain, sun-dappled country lanes, lazy creeks, meadowlarks and dickcissels, a cup of brew in a favorite mug, and my new read on pre-civil war Kansas and the original Jayhawker…just some of the things I love about our new life here on the edge the prairie in Kansas.
