Root to Jar

Checked in on the garden this evening looking for new growth and peace and quiet. Today was a DAY for sure. We can get into that another time, but I found a friend while I was there! Hopefully this week green beans and cucumbers can get in the ground between lacrosse games and hockey gamesđ
I think all this gardening is starting to get to me. But look at these cute little carrots!! How can you not be excited about them?

Sometimes, the best part of the day is just sitting by the garden. Itâs quiet here, save for the steady, rhythmic tick of the sprinkler. No work message alerts, no 800 questions from the kidsâjust me, the birds, and my own thoughts.
I didnât expect to find my inspiration at a gas station this morning, but here we are. I was grabbing my morning Red Bull (donât judge!), and when I told the cashier, âItâs only Tuesday,â she just smiled and said, âAt least itâs not Monday.â
Those few words were exactly the dose of optimism I needed today. Cheers to getting through the rest of the week! đżâ¨

To say this week was the longest would be an understatement, but nature has a way of showing up exactly when you need it. I stepped outside this morning to check the garden and saw the peas have finally started to sprout! đą
Thank goodness itâs Friday. This afternoon I will stop at the greenhouse for tomatoes, peppers, and green bean seeds. The tomatoes and peppers are going in the ground today, while the cucumbers and beans will wait for a bit more warmthâbut itâs all coming together nicely!
