Lights, camera, community!!!! Our WKYT Creative Services team teamed up with our parent company Gray’s Creative Team to produce an upcoming commercial for our newest partner, Traditional Bank—and I’m sharing a few behind-the-scenes moments from the shoot. We’re excited about this new relationship and can’t wait to reveal the finished spot on-air in the next month. The folks at Traditional Bank are the best: friendly, professional, and wonderful to work with.

Traditional Bank is an independent, community bank with 19 locations in eight Kentucky counties.

As we spend time with family and friends this weekend, we encourage everyone to take a moment to remember the heroes whose courage and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As we begin gearing up for this year’s St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, our team recently traveled with Amber Philpott to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.

While we were there, we had the privilege of capturing several powerful stories—from the brave patients and families facing childhood cancer, and from the incredible staff who care for them every day.

One of those voices is Ellen Bursti, Manager of the Speech & Language Pathology Department. Her team helps children facing cancer overcome communication, cognitive, and swallowing challenges that can come with treatment—helping them regain important parts of their lives.

In the coming months, we’ll begin sharing these stories—starting in June, with more throughout the summer. We also filmed new promos and commercials as we prepare for another St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway.

Every Dream Home ticket sold helps support the life-saving mission of St. Jude: finding cures and saving children. And because families should only have to focus on helping their child get better, no parent ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food.

Tickets go on sale June 25.
