Today and everyday, we honor, remember and celebrate those who have sacrificed for our freedom. Not a day goes by that we are not deeply aware of how much was given for our freedom. Their courage will never be forgotten!

Last November, our Dedicated Restoration Team removed 4,380 pounds (2.19 tons) of trash & 1 tire from Lower Sycamore, Four Peaks & Sugar Loaf OHV Areas on the U.S. Forest Service-Tonto National Forest, in addition to removing 274 sq ft of graffiti from Four Peaks & Sugar Loaf (check out the post before this one).
*
We also put out a fire at Lower Sycamore that was not fully extinguished. Please ensure your fire is completely extinguished before driving away, we come across abandoned fires all the time.

Last Thursday, May 14th, we hosted a Lower Salt River Cleanup at Pebble Beach & Blue Point Recreation Areas for a fantastic group of volunteers from the Rotational Engineering Team at Salt River Project. 18 volunteers helped us remove 127.35 pounds of trash from the area! Check out a few photos from the project.

Volunteers hiked & explored Pebble Beach & Blue Point Recreation Areas along the Lower Salt River picking up scattered trash, cans, bottles, hats, blankets, plastic bags, towels, clothing, shoes, flip flops, sunglasses, an umbrella, & lots of micro trash, like cigarette butts, bottle tops, fishing line, confetti, toothpick flossers, pieces of wrappers & more. Several disgusting finds, including 2 dirty diapers & other trash left sitting on a grill meant for cooking food less than 30 steps from a dumpster.

Thanks again to everyone from the Rotational Engineering Team at Salt River Project for helping us make a positive impact on the Lower Salt River!

Thank you to the U.S. Forest Service-Tonto National Forest for their support of this event & our mission!
Tires are still cheap, right? Imagine spending your hard earned money on a set of tires so that you can enjoy Arizona's off-road trails. You barely hit the dirt road & drive through thousands of nails left from pallet fire burns. Now you have 4 tires full of nails. Sounds like a terrible way to start your off-road adventure & another big hit to your bank account, even with road hazard on your tires!
*
We don't want that experience for any trail rider! Earlier this week, our Dedicated Restoration Team removed over 560 pounds of nails from multiple sites throughout Bulldog Canyon. All of the nails were removed from areas people drive through!
*
Thank you to everyone at Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative (Yamaha Outdoors) for awarding us with a grant to remove trash & graffiti from popular OHV Areas on the U.S. Forest Service-Tonto National Forest

Thank you to the U.S. Forest Service-Tonto National Forest for their support of this project! Thank you to Tim Estenson from Estenson Racing for writing a letter of support on our behalf!
