Rural isolation is real in Wyoming. So are fixed incomes, transportation barriers, and limited access to ongoing care. He has Medicare, but co-pays and uncovered sessions still add up.

He’s not likely to call a crisis line but he may agree to see a counselor his doctor recommends. The challenge is staying in care once the costs pile up.

For Danielle Stovall, giving back to local cancer patients is more than a volunteer role—it’s a deeply personal mission. As a founding member of the Cancer Care Committee, Danielle has been part of Paint Gillette Pink and countless other efforts since the committee’s launch in 2013.

“I lost my father to cancer 13 years ago,” she shares. “I know firsthand the emotional and financial hardships that come with a cancer diagnosis. That experience shaped me, and it’s why I’ve committed myself to helping other families facing similar struggles.”

Danielle finds constant inspiration in the generosity of the community. “I love how generous people in our community are to help those in need. It truly makes a difference.”

Outside of her work with the Foundation, Danielle is enjoying one of life’s sweetest roles—she’s a first-time grandma! “I'm absolutely loving being a grandma to my grandson,” she beams.

With her deep compassion and lived experience, Danielle brings more than service to the committee—she brings heart. We’re so thankful for her continued dedication and the impact she’s made in the lives of so many.
