lol okay I’ll stop comparing Mack to the cows in Switzerland now. They were cute though. I think Mack needs a cow bell to complete his ensemble (listen to the last video).

Another 7 miles and 1700’ for the boys (accompanied by Nonna and Grandpa this time too and of course dog dad behind the camera). A good hike to tire the dogs out before handing them off to the grandpawrents for us to go on a fun trip!

Thankful that we got out in the morning before a whole bunch of wildfire smoke rolled into the area. It’s absolutely unbelievable how bad this fire season is already shaping up to be and nervous for how bad it’s probably going to get. Just a reminder to leave no trace, and follow fire restrictions.

Pictured here is Revy - a common sighting in the summer time (or if it’s sunny and there snow on the ground in winder) is him throwing a tantrum instead of walking back to the house so he can continue with his lizard time on the nice hot sidewalk. (We take them out on leash for all potty breaks because we don’t have a yard)

Yes, cars often stop asking if he’s okay and if we need help.
Yes it’s embarrassing when I say back “no thanks, he’s just stubborn”.
And then they drive away looking confused (not sure what’s confusing about that though)

But also when he rolls over on his back and tucks his little paws I think it’s so cute.

Macky’s Monday Motivation:

Revy and Macky went for a big 8 mile hike with us this weekend and did amazing. Turns out that was Warren and my limit of “time on feet” lol we were in pain after over 4 hours. But it was beautiful. And there was a good amount of water for the boys which is always the most fun for them. And Macky loves laying down in everything which makes us laugh
