Did you know that many native plants are very good for your goats? Cleavers, aka Sticky W***y, are growing abundantly right now. And goats LOVE them! And they have wonderful medicinal properties. If you were to take your goats on a walk through a native forest, you would find that most everything native is great for goats to eat. One native plant, however, that is deadly to goats, is Rhododendron. If you are considering getting goats, do consider what plants you have lurking around.
