Edith Davila, age 48 of Jonesborough, formerly of Grand Prairie, TX, passed away on April 8, 2026 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Edith was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Guadalupe and Ofelia Davila.

Edith was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family. She had a contagious laughter. She was loving and caring and didn't know a stranger.

Survivors in addition to her parents, her husband Jose Antonio Hernandez, her son Jose Antonio Hernandez, Jr., and her daughter Victoria Abigail Hernandez; sister Sandy Davila-Tijerina and husband Ricky, nephew Ricky Tijerina, and niece Rosario Tijerina; brother Guadalupe Davila, Jr., and many Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the funeral expenses.

Graveside will be on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Fairview Cemetery at 2:30 P.M., with Father Moises Moreno officiating. Pallbearers will be Jose A. Hernandez, Jose A. Hernandez, Jr., Guadalupe Davila, Jr., Misael Garcia Jr., Patricia Jauregui, and Olegario Garcia.
