Last week, my mother in law came to New York for the first time. We did the absolute most. We saw a show on broadway, went to Peak for dinner and roamed Times Square. She had the time of her life. I loved being able to share such a special moment. Honestly, it made me reflect on my values and what truly matters in life.

I reflected on how special my community is to me.
Show up for the people that show up for you. The people who are the first call you make when s**t hits the fan. The people who hold you up when life is whooping that ass. The people that will call you in your bs, support you, unconditionally love, see and accept you.

I’m grateful for my people and excited to continue build and grow together 🫶🏽
