Part-time office assistant and customer service representative for busy animal genetics and diagnostics laboratory in West Greeley.
Hours would be from 9am to aprox 1 or 2pm 5 days per week. Summer months are busier, so would be fewer hours (20-25) Aug-Jan and more hours Feb thru July (20-30).
Assistant would also need to fill in full time aprox 3 weeks per year when I go on vacation. Some flexibilty is available if it works out for all involved.

Essential responsibilities:

^Customer service: Answer incoming phone calls (most customer contact is on the phone). Must have the ability to maintain a cheerful and polite rapport and have a very helpful demeanor with customers at all times.

^Bookkeeping- Very basic bookkeeping- willing to train the right person.

^Email and mail customer test results.

^Enter test result data and invoices on USDA interface.

^Organization and cleaning when time allows.

Software programs that we use regularly are:
Quickbooks Pro, Microsoft office (Excel, word, outlook), Filemaker pro (used for customer test data- will train).

Skills you will need to have or be quick to learn:
Customer relations, general front office duties, data entry, written and oral communication, accounts receivable and payable.

Competencies I would like to see:
Flexibility, integrity, Initiative, optimism, organization, strong work ethic, ability to find work to do during slow periods without much direction.

Education and Experience:
1 year administrative experience or education would be very helpful, but I am willing to train the right person.
