🇺🇸 Race Day Recap - July 4 🇺🇸

Spent Independence Day at the track in Gering, and we were so excited to finally get our car up there! I had a blast getting practice laps in and learning the fast way around a brand new track.

The trophy dash pill draw had us starting P6 out of 8 Bandoleros (Bandits and Outlaws combined). We worked through traffic and brought it home in P4!

The invert put us on the pole for the heat race. I continued learning the track, stayed consistent, and finished P4.

Another invert had us starting on the pole for the feature. I did my best to keep the Outlaws behind me and held the lead as long as I could before bringing home a P4 finish overall..and **1st in the Bandit class!** 🏁

I learned so much this weekend, had an absolute blast, and can't wait to get back on the track!

Race Day Recap- June 6th

The universe definitely wasn't on our side this weekend.

After practice, we discovered a bent axle, but thanks to a lot of help from some amazing people, we got the car back together just in time for the dash. We started P4 and finished P4.

Unfortunately, another issue popped up before the feature, but we were able to get it fixed and make it out for the main. With the invert, we started on the pole in P1, but an early spin put us a lap down. We kept digging, worked our way back through the field, and finished P8.

Not the results we were hoping for, but weekends like this are all part of the learning process. We’ll take what we learned, keep working hard, and come back stronger next week!
