If you’re a market regular, you may recognize Abigail Richon by her fun, colorful hair! As a child, Abigail would load an old backpack with a sketch pad and pencils to wander through the fields and woods. Abigail credits her parents for her love of nature and art. They were both very creative and Abigail grew up watching them explore their artistic passions. Her mom started taking her to galleries and museums as a young child and her father filled their home with every art supply you could imagine. That creative childhood joy and love of nature still influences her work today.

Abigail sells handmade jewelry, fine art prints, fine art note cards, corn husk inspired dolls, fairy dolls, fairy wands and fairy catchers. You can find Abi-don Studio at The Frederick City Market throughout the season, including this Sunday, June 28 and next week on July 5.
