Father’s Day on two wheels.
We rode to the summit of Mt. Ascension as a family, and this is exactly what That2wheelfeel is about — getting outside, taking on climbs that feel a little bigger than expected, stopping for the view, and making memories along the way.
The summit was the reward, but the real win was getting there together.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads making memories out there.
Family Bike Ride on Milwaukee Road in Butte, Montana
Take me to the moon… or maybe just the old Milwaukee Road in Butte. 🌙🚲
Easy miles, old railroad history, tunnel views, and a family ride that felt like a little Montana adventure.

Barking Dog singletrack had that perfect flowy downhill feel on this lap.
Narrow trail, green walls, and just enough speed to make it fun.

The Reaper upgrade blog is live.
This little bike has been through a lot lately — drivetrain, tires, brakes, lever setup, and a rear shock upgrade.
The goal was not to make it flashy. It was to make it safer, more reliable, and more confidence-inspiring for the family rides we are actually doing.
The biggest changes:
Shimano CUES 11-speed drivetrain
Maxxis Minion tires
Shimano MT200 brakes with 180mm rotors
Sticky Fingers brake lever covers
RockShox Monarch RL rear shock
It still does not make climbing easy. The Reaper is a heavy full-suspension bike for a young rider. But these upgrades made a real difference in control, traction, braking, and confidence.
