1951 Chevy Suburban Chop Top
Sometimes… well just about always… wheels & stance can change so much. This probably 90s chopped Suburban was done by someone with a vision and they did a good job. Unfortunately the stance was not quite low enough and the wheels didn’t quite complete the build. So glad the new owner, now repeating customer Jose has decided to collaborate with us on giving this family hauler a new attitude and altitude.
We didn’t want to cut into the cab so he can keep the 3 rows of seating. It already had a MII front end so a simple air bag & shocks got the front very low and out back we replaced the leaf with a pair of hand built links, bags & shocks. For air management we kept it simple. Four corner valve block from our friends & their 5 in 1 gauge controlled by a power window switch panel. An aluminum air tank & dual provide enough air supply. For wheels we measured twice and found offered just the right backspace in their 20” found on ready to ship! Pair those with who offer big diameter tires with 1” whitewalls and we got our remodeled look we wanted.
We pride ourselves in what we do and aren’t afraid to go above and beyond, we handled making a brake pedal return spring, radiator fitting leak and even found inner rack & pinion tie rods had play in them so installed a new pair. No we don’t “offer” these types of services as a single off the street job but when we are doing a full install we usually can and will go beyond our school of work to help the customer out.
Thanks again for the business and I loved seeing this project come together! Next stop for that wet paint polish and then for the boom boom music

1954 Chevy Belair
Thank you Brandon for allowing us to bring this clean og bomb to the next level. The car was one of the cleanest most rust free examples we had seen. The body seems to have 1 respray but everything else was untouched. We used front and rear kit to lay this thing down, but to get the extra low we went a bit further and pancaked the trans K-member and also tunneled and tubbed to run torque tube and taller tires. This was no “bag job” we modified the back seat and treated all the surfaces to paint coatings and insulation before getting an all white interior to compliment the teal and white exterior that brought back to life! also came through with a clean and crisp sounding system that you have to hear to believe. We took all the bumper accessories to rechrome with aftermarket front and rear bumpers added newer style headlights and taillights for brighter visibility and an original Federal fright siren. Miami has some high temps and big traffic jams so dual spal electric fans were also installed to keep temps cool.
There is just too much to list on this project as we got to go beyond our usual air suspension job and really help tie a lot of areas together and improve on a lot of things that hopefully make this everything Brandon ever wanted.

1999 Mercedes E320 Japan
Not only is this car unique in the States for being right hand drive, it’s also a very well preserved immaculate condition example. We got the opportunity to give it an altitude adjustment. Using with their vehicle specific bags, brackets and adjustable shocks not only did we achieve the lowest stance possible but also retained the highest level of ride quality. To manage the suspension we turned to with the 3P for its robust performance and ease of use. Some cars need more than others, this one didn’t need much to change its attitude. Possibly a set of wheels will be coming up in the future but for now it’s sitting on stocks doesn’t look half bad. Thank you to and for trusting me and allowing us to work together on this project.

1950 Mercury Traditional Custom Taillights
Follow the new page as we will be updating it soon with new and old TCT

This beautiful set of bumper guards came from who is putting together a dream machine and we are honored to be a part of it! Mark wanted taillights inspired by the Quesnel Mercury that paved the way for custom Mercs as we know them today. Hand crafting these bumper guard taillights in a similar fashion as they did back then ensures we get the same emotions when we see this custom roll by. We strive to build the best we can while keeping true to traditional styling.
The guards needed the mounting bosses repaired and new ones welded on, so we handled that before sending them off to chrome. We love it when customers send us the complete assembly so that we can fully assemble and wire them up. We provided standard 1157 bulbs and even lightly restored the tag light assembly while wiring all three park / driving light wire and individual brake light wiring for those that will run turn signals.
Thank you Mark I think I’ve enjoyed building these as much as you will enjoy seeing them on your car!
Don’t forget to follow

1984 Cadillac…
Truly enjoyed this colab with Chris, taking us back to our childhood car. My dad had an 80s Cadillac just as I was getting interested in cars as a kid, Chris wanted to relive his. He took his Coupe and had the vinyl top removed when getting the car painted. A set of appliance wire wheels got him satisfied but setting the car low to the ground was the goal.
We settled on air suspension from using bags and new shocks for a comfortable ride. For air management we turned to e-level plus and a pair of chrome compressors. A seamless air tank color matched to the car and valve manifold finish off the management. Chris also asked to make the trunk “nicer” and luckily we both had the same vision, we incorporated the factory interior styling with pleats and panels as well as the wood grain dash as the trunk floor along with some polished hardlines.
Few other items we helped with were a pair of new rear floor panels and complete dual exhaust straight pipes. It was great working with Chris and we are both equally excited about this Cadillac. Hope you all enjoy it!

1940 Ford Pickup…
It’s been a few years in the making but I’ve been enjoying my new Custom Shop Truck recently. Back in August 2022 I had finally found the “right” truck for me to build. After another year of collecting parts and making a game plan we finally started working on the project.
Having had the honor of restoring the Gil Ayala Wildbird for and learning more about the Ayala Bros I thought it only right my newest shop truck be inspired by their style. They had chopped the ‘40 for the House of Chrome Shop Truck so I poured myself into the 3-4 only pics of it and rendering. of helped me analyze the proportions for the chop and I made countless cardboard mockups of the side windows in full scale till I was happy with it. My great friend helped me chop it down one Saturday till we got the right “look”.
Few other note able changes include the front and rear ‘46 car bumpers and guards plus 49 Chev guard over the rear plate, deluxe ‘39 original headlight, rear drop taillights, ‘34 spare tire cover, ‘35 16” spoke wheels, baby appletons, ‘46 Pontiac gauge cluster center mounted, ‘40 car column and so on.
Kept the original frame with I-beam and Zypher drums, 70s Chev rear and on ‘50 Chev car parallel leafs, crate 350 sbc, rebuilt 700r4 and everything painted / new. Being a work truck I opted to put a pair of Monroe air shocks with a compressor, single button to lift and release ball valve for when unloaded. She cruises well at 80mph with air conditioning and a simple Bluetooth 2 speaker setup (one in the old heater box).
Thanks to the wife and kids for picking the colors! After sandblasting and patching a few rust repairs we did minimal bodywork and sprayed with single stage. I did not want a “restoration / show truck” instead a truck that looks great but shows its age and is honest in being 85 years old.
Well there’s a ton more details and info but I won’t bore you guys any longer 😅 I’ll be enjoying the truck and getting a few of the kinks out while finishing a few smaller details. Hopefully we will be driving out to some of the bigger shows soon. Thanks for reading and looking at the pics!
