Seven years ago today, on May 5th, I photographed my very first wedding… and it still holds such a special place in my heart. 🤍

If you had asked me back then, I would have told you I would never shoot weddings. It felt too big, too important, too much pressure. But God had a different plan, and it came through the persistence of a sweet friend who just wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Because of her ( yes that is you Karen Brendle), I said yes.

And that one “yes” changed everything.

That day opened the door to something I didn’t even know I would love so deeply. The emotions, the moments, the stories… getting to capture one of the most meaningful days in someone’s life is something I will never take for granted.

Looking back now, I’m so thankful I stepped outside of my comfort zone. It led me here, to all the incredible couples, beautiful weddings, and memories I’ve had the honor of capturing over the past 7 years.

To every bride and groom who has trusted me… thank you. And to my sweet friend Karen, who kept asking, thank you for seeing something in me before I saw it in myself. ❤ Happy Anniversary Savannah & Ethan! I still can't believe it has been 7 years.

It rained on Zacoriia and Zachary's wedding day, but not even the clouds could take away from how absolutely stunning she was. There’s just something so magical about a love story in the rain, the soft light and of course… the umbrella shots (which I will forever love 😍).

Rain didn’t ruin the day...it made it unforgettable.

To all my future brides, if your wedding day brings rain, don’t stress. I promise you, we will still create timeless, beautiful images that you’ll treasure forever. Some of the most romantic moments happen when things don’t go exactly as planned. ❤️

I have to brag!!! This boy right here… I couldn’t be more proud to be his mom. It’s not just about the plays he makes, but the heart behind every single one of them. The hustle, the determination, the way he runs full speed and stretches for every ball like it matters....because to him, it does.

He shows up, works hard, listens, learns, and keeps pushing himself to be better every single game. No shortcuts, no quitting… just pure effort and love for the game.

That kind of drive? You can’t teach it. It's a fire that burns deep within. And I’m so proud to watch it grow in you. Keep chasing it, buddy. I’ll always be your biggest fan. ❤️⚾️ #21
