Carolina Thunder Stixx

Happy Birthday to our very own, #8 Kain Smith! Also known as “Lightning McQueen”. He’s a force on the base paths and catches bombs at centerfield. Don’t blink you may miss him! We hope you have a great birthday Kain!

Happy Birthday to Coach Eric! 🎉⚾️

Today we get to celebrate a great coach, a great friend, and a man who means a lot to our Thunder Stixx family. Eric is one of the most positive people you’ll ever meet, and his passion for baseball is matched only by how much he cares about the boys who play it.

Coach, thank you for your friendship, your leadership, and everything you do for our boys and our community. We’re fortunate to have you on our team and even more fortunate to call you a friend.

Hope you have a great birthday!

These Stixx boys are putting in the work 💪🏻

A fun weekend in Asheville for the Carolina Thunder Stixx!

The boys started the weekend strong with two wins on Saturday before battling through two tough losses on Sunday. The bats were working all weekend as the boys combined for 49 runs and 6 home runs.

While we’re proud of what they accomplished between the lines, we’re even more proud of how they represented the Stixx and their families throughout the trip. They carried themselves with class, competed hard, supported one another, and made some great memories together along the way.

Not every weekend ends with a trophy, but there was plenty to be proud of in Asheville. A lot of good baseball, a lot of learning experiences, and a lot of fun with a great group of kids and families.

We will get back to work with practice this week and prepare for another tournament on Friday!

Let’s go Stixx!

Help us wish one of our Stixx boys, Ben, a BIG happy birthday! 🥳

Your great attitude, positive energy, and willingness to cheer on your teammates make you an important part of this group. 💙🩶

You’re always there celebrating the boys, picking them up, and being a great teammate, and that means more than you know!

Keep being YOU, keep working, keep smiling, and keep bringing that positive energy! We’re lucky to have you on this team!

We’ve got birthday twins on the Stixx team! #28 Levi Marshall and #47 Carson Marchisotto!

Levi, it’s been so much fun watching you grow and be a leader and such a big part of this team. Always dependable, always ready to step up wherever you’re needed, and able to play just about any position! You bring so much fun and personality to the field.

Carson is one of the newest members of our team! It didn’t take long for you to start proving yourself and showing everyone what you bring to the field. You’re a great competitor, dependable, respectful, and always ready to step up at the plate! We’re excited to watch you continue to grow and make your mark this season.

We’re lucky to have you guys as a teammate and friend! Hope you have the best birthday! 🎂🥳⚾️

Proud of these boys.

They went 3-1 on the weekend and battled their way to a Silver Bracket championship in Clemmons. They competed, stayed together, and found a way.

Great group of kids. Great families behind them. Great sponsors supporting them. We’re grateful for every bit of it.

We’ll enjoy this one, then get back to work.

The show goes on. 💪🏼⚾️

The Stixx kicked off our Fall/11U season today in Clemmons. We dropped the first game but stayed competitive throughout. 11U brings some changes with a longer distance to the mound and longer baselines, and the boys are adjusting quickly.

Game two was a fun one. Down 2 runs in the final inning with 2 outs, the boys battled, found a way, and walked it off for the win. 💪🏼

Proud of our boys for competing until the very last out. A big thank you to our families for everything they put into giving these boys the opportunity to play, and to our team sponsors for continuing to support the Stixx.

Back at it tomorrow in Clemmons. The show continues! ⚾️💪🏼
