Back at the Ranch Pet Concierge

I've forgotten how this even happened, but years ago I was approached to contribute to an e-book about Aussies. I worked with a guy who was trying to finish it and get it published. I added some content to it and they used Elly for the cover. It never made it to a hard copy but it was fun nonetheless.

So I've been spending my time doing projects here at the house. We had all our windows re-screened and washed, I painted the upstairs, getting ready to do the trim, baseboards and banister/spindles, want to do some more wallpapering, more painting. I'm not allowed ibuprofen anymore, so Tylenol helps with my poor body!
We're moving into June Gloom a little bit (it's a thing...marine layer from the ocean moves in and gives us overcast, cooler days). Been thinking maybe I'll video Ike's next groom when I feel good enough and get a warm day, providing the chemical tank in Garden Grove hasn't blown up at that time and the wind doesn't blow it our way. We already have had like a dozen fires break out around us. Always something. Seriously though, keep everyone in the path of the toxic tank in your prayers. It's not going to be cute.

Duckling got the "all clear" from her vet to go back to her kibble, treats, toys. That one last area took a little longer to close but it finally did. She can now have her new purple ducky toy. 💜
