About the fulldome film:
Imurse 3000 is a 40 minute fulldome odyssey that invites you on an imaginative journey through the seasons of time, making pitstops at three pastime mesmerizing immersive theatre shows that can only be accessed inside select planetariums.

Using the help of our time traveling host, .witch she will take us on a journey through stories contained within stories that will leave you reflecting on how the radiance of creativity shines from our souls and is mirrored in the stars. This fulldome sitcom promises a dazzling blend of art that takes you on a kaleidoscopic journey to this former venues past⏳🌀 Embark on a quest for a fulldome future that can only be quenched in the quest for the stars🪽💫

The time I chased a monk 😹 I really wanted to get her on film because she was such a spiritual gangster.

Here are some captures from my journey along the ancient 800 mile footpath of - linking 88 sequentially ordered esoteric Buddhist temples on a “journey to enlightenment” that is older than a millennium. This adventure came full proof with accessories like traditional Japanese practices and songs, a book of stamps, my virtual reality equipment, and many bloody toes. 😹

I spent a lot of time reading, worshipping, singing and praying on this journey, primarily to the founder of Esoteric Buddhism - a prolific man from 800AD who brought Buddhism to Japan and published works that altered the state of human consciousness. He established this trail as his own journey to enlightenment, and to this day the islanders of Shikoku operate with devotion and reverence to the pilgrimage. It is truly where I encountered some of the happiest and friendliest people on earth. 🥹

Here you can roll back the clocks of time older than comprehension. I felt called to go back in time, by myself, on foot, and dive deep into the foundations of these philosophers, to find the friendly monks and sages, to begin asking and documenting these temples and their intertwined wisdoms, and to use any gained insight to develop practical priming exercises that can instantaneously dissolve ego and bring us closer to post-modern mass harmony.

It was then an honor to present this project at Fulldome Film Festival too, linking the fulldome technological community with this rural & spiritual island in Japan.

I only hiked the first 90miles / 17temples of the Shikoku, and I’ll be doing a prefecture every year until I finish. This is definitely a long term project. I’ll post more about it again soon 😇
