Last month we had the grand opening of our brand new Mobi store in Hilo. We had the honor of receiving @chaslen.hualani who recited an oli to bless the space. Hualani’s oli first introduces herself to the area, which is a form of respect and asks for permission. Hualani is from Puna, so she continues the oli by speaking of the beautiful features of her birthplace. The second part of the oli speaks of Hualani’s intentions, which is to bring aloha, form meaningful connections, and do something special with all of our team in agreement to bless the space. It is a humble request. Our store is infinitely blessed to have received Hualani’s oli that pierced through and permeated our space. We are so grateful for our team and Hualani’s presence for our grand opening!
