💗 Happy Mother’s Day 💗 My students have the BEST moms!! We spent some time decorating a pot and then we learned how to arrange a flower piece for Mother’s Day. We had a special guest who is actually my mom. She has been a florist for years and she shared her talent with us. They turned out BEAUTIFUL!! We hope you loved them! ❤️

🐛The Very Hungry Caterpillar came to Kindergarten. These retelling caterpillars were so much fun! We even ate the same foods the caterpillar ate in the story so we can grow big and strong too.

🦋 Butterfly Fun! 🦋 We had a great week learning about Butterflies in Kindergarten. Check back to see our Chrysalis turn into butterflies!

🐣 Chick Life Cycle 🐣 We did it! We successfully hatched baby chicks from the coop’s fertilized eggs. This was such an incredible process. The kids tracked and monitored the eggs progress every day for 21 days. Friday is Adoption Day! Many students will get to take a chick home with them. This is what real life science looks like!

We are having so much fun with all of our Living Visitors! Chickens aren’t the only ones getting attention at The Kinder Coop!

🌏 Earth Day 🌎 We had a great week learning about our planet. Of course we added in some fun read alouds, learning videos, crafts and cookies.

Such a fun Egg Craft for Kindergarten. It went perfectly with our book theme! So fun!
