I just got back from PJX and I am still processing all of it.
There were moments where I felt completely behind. Surrounded by women who have been doing this longer, built more, scaled faster. That feeling was not comfortable and as someone who has always prided myself on achievement, that felt important to notice, but also good for me.
There were also moments where I felt genuinely different in the best way. My background does not look like anyone else's in that room. At times I have thought that was a disadvantage. I am starting to think it might be the whole point.
And then there was a morning at the pool where I sat down with no agenda and ended up in the kind of conversation that reminds you why you started building something in the first place.
Exhausted. Energized. Behind. Different. Included. All in the same week.
Maybe that's what a season of transition feels like. Not clean. Not linear. Not photogenic.
Just real.
If you are in your own version of this right now, you are not alone. The messy middle is not a sign that something is wrong. It is usually a sign that something is actually happening.
On the subject of transitions, I hope you'll follow along as my new studio transition unfolds. Comment WAITLIST to make sure you don't miss anything!

One of my favorite feelings is looking at the clock and realizing way more time has passed than I thought.
Whether it's a lazy afternoon by the pool, a book I can't put down, or dinner with friends that somehow turns into three hours of laughing and stories, it's just a great feeling.
Those moments are easy to overlook because they don't look productive. They don't check anything off a list. Which is exactly what makes them matter.
What's your favorite way to lose time?

I've been at PJX this week. It's an industry conference for permanent jewelry... the people who are building serious businesses in this space, learning from each other, investing in what comes next.
I came by myself. For a business that started at a kitchen table before my alarm went off for my actual job.
And I haven't questioned that decision for a single second.
Every conversation I've had here has sharpened something. Not just my technical skills or my business model, but my conviction that All That Glitters is worth building at this level. Worth investing in. Worth taking seriously, even when it would be easier to keep it small and safe.
The thing that keeps striking me is that the people building the businesses I admire most aren't accidental about any of it. They're intentional. They keep learning. They stay curious. They put themselves in rooms where they can grow.
This month, the Minnetonka studio opens.
A year ago, that would have felt like a distant possibility. Not only was I in the middle of prepping for the North Loop studio to launch, but I also would not have dreamed that a space like the new studio was even realistic for me. Standing here this week, it feels like the natural next step.
If you've been following along through the pop-ups, the folding tables, the early mornings, and everything in between, thank you. You're part of this story too.
And because a little celebrating seems appropriate, we're getting awfully close to 1,000 followers on Instagram. I have a feeling that milestone might deserve something fun. 👀
For now, I'm headed home with a notebook full of ideas and a lot of excitement for what's next.

Every summer I have ever loved had one thing in common: someone made a decision.
Someone said yes before they talked themselves out of it. Someone sent the text instead of waiting for a better time. Someone made a reservation for a Tuesday night just because.
The summers that felt like nothing? Those were the ones where everyone waited for spontaneity to show up on its own. It doesn't work that way.
If you've been thinking about a girls' night, a birthday Sparkle Party, a bachelorette, or just a reason to get your people in a room together this summer - this is the nudge.
The calendar fills faster than you think and the good dates go first.
