This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a candidate with strong decision making abilities, can work independently, highly adept at reading and interpreting blueprints, and can work with machinists and management to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained. Experience performing dimensional inspection on machined parts is required, thread inspection on ACME or basic threads is highly preferred, and must be proficient in both analog and digital hand held inspection tools (ex: mics, calipers, gauges, etc.).

Experience Needed:
☑ - 1-3 years of quality inspection - dimensional inspection of machined parts
☑ - Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints
☑ - Proficient in proper usage of mics (OD & ID), calipers, gauges, etc., both analog and digital
☑ - Handle first article, in-process, and final inspections
☑ - Maintain ISO compliance, customer standards, and internal QMS procedures
☑ - Initiate NCR's and communicate issues to production and quality leadership

Position Details:
🕖 - 2nd Shift - 5pm to 4am M-F, overtime and weekends as needed or required

We're supporting a contract-to-hire opportunity with an industry leader in skid mounted centrifugal pump packages to hire a Test Lab Technician.
This position will be hooking up newly manufactured pumps to a recirculating piping system to test and certify the pump to API, ANSI, and client specifications. Testing includes vibration analysis, flow ratio, hard stops, etc. Technician will be responsible for hooking up piping, valves, motor, gauges, and electrical to the pump, monitor pump for leaks or other issues during test, unhooking all equipment after testing, and cleaning pump and shop prior to next test.
