So grateful to have been given the opportunity to participate in the 80/20 Artist Summit. I had to get up early to work in London time, but it was totally worth it.

There were talks of overcoming fear, healing, growth, self discovery, coming back from darkness, being of service and so much more. Such powerful stories of inspiration and hope. Thank you Art by Avnie for letting me share my story. I dunno, but I think I'm looking forward to doing this again. I'm loving where this journey is taking me.

Feelings. That's what I paint. I admire the talented artists that can paint what they see. I can do that too just not as well, not as fast, and well... It just doesn't do the same for me as painting how i feel.

Awhile back i started this piece to challenge myself to spend more time. I worked on it every day for 8 days. At that point in my life things weren't at their best. Actually, they were just plain bad. This painting evolved from an abstract piece into a self portrait of how i was feeling at the time. It is the most powerful piece I've done to date. The layers, the texture, the emotion.

I think when you learn to feel things it changes the way you see things.
