5. THE UNEXPECTED Sitting with Bufo🐸

This one… I didn’t plan.

After my ayahuasca ceremonies, on a whim, I decided to join a friend for a Bufo ceremony.

And I’ll be honest—
I was not prepared.

Everything I thought I knew… from hearing other people’s experiences, from researching… it didn’t match what I went through.

Not even close.

I’m not going to go into full detail here.
If you know me personally, reach out—I’ll share.

What I will say is this…
I was led there for a reason.

Most people say these journeys last 15–20 minutes.
Mine was about an hour and 20 minutes.

An hour and 20 minutes of something I’m still integrating.

And even in that… I trust it.

I trust that God gave me exactly what I needed.
No more, no less.

I saw, felt, and understood things that I may not fully have words for yet… and I’m okay with that.

What made all the difference was the space.
The people.
The facilitators.

Feeling safe. Feeling held. Feeling supported through something that intense… matters more than anything.

I don’t have all the answers from that experience yet.
But I know it was part of the path I’m on.

And I’m learning to trust that more than needing to understand everything right away.

4. SURRENDER ✨

This moment right here…

Right before the second night.

No distractions.
No noise.
Just stillness.

The darkness.
The sounds of the jungle.
The energy in the space.

There’s something about sitting in that quiet, knowing what’s coming… and realizing you don’t control any of it.

And honestly… that’s the lesson.

We think we’re in control of everything.
Our outcomes. Our timing. Our lives.

But in that moment, you feel it…

You’re not.

What you do have control over…
is how open you are.

Open to receive.
Open to trust.
Open to let go.

That first cup isn’t just something you take…
it’s something you surrender to.

To God.
To source.
To your ancestors.
To your higher self.

And there’s something powerful in that.

Because when you stop trying to control everything…
you finally create space to receive what’s meant for you.
