If I learned nothing from growing up, meeting people and conversing with people where and how we did, it is this. The most hardened people who have seen the toughest s**t more time than not have a soft side too. Yesterday I walked through The Nickel, the legendary and historic 5th Ward, Houston TX, and everyone I met and photographed were the warmest and kindest people I could encounter. You all will see the images soon, either as photographs or more of my drawings. I love us and I hope y’all do too!
