Off leash training starts on leash, whether you’re outside OR inside. 🏡 (A leash on in the house is a completely foreign concept to a lot of people, but you have to trust the process)

So many people are in a rush to get rid of their leash when they’re training their dog. I always recommend at least 30-90 days of being on leash… ALL. THE. TIME.

Jumping on guests? Use your leash
Not coming when called? Use your leash
Counter surfing? Use your leash
Not listening in general? You guessed it… use your leash

It’s what you do after you give the command (not how many times you say it, that makes the greatest impact).
