You don't need cysts to have PMOS (formerly PCOS). It's a hormonal and metabolic condition — and so many women live with it for years, blaming themselves for weight that won't budge, acne, or irregular periods. It's not a willpower problem. It's your hormones. If this sounds like you, you're not imagining it. 💜 Save this and send it to someone who needs to hear it.

Why does my body smell different during menopause? 👀

This is something many women experience but don’t always feel comfortable talking about.

As estrogen levels change during perimenopause and menopause, your body can experience changes in sweating, skin bacteria, and vaginal pH — which can lead to changes in body odor. This does not mean you’re dirty. Your body is going through a hormonal transition.

Here are some ways to support menopause-related body odor:

✨ Use a whole-body deodorant or antiperspirant with ingredients that help control sweat and odor
✨ Consider skin-friendly options like hypochlorous acid or glycolic acid products to support odor control (especially on external skin)
✨ Choose gentle, pH-balanced or antibacterial washes for areas prone to sweat (avoid harsh products on the v***a)
✨ Support your body from the inside: stay hydrated, prioritize protein, fiber, fruits, vegetables, and consider reducing foods or triggers that worsen sweating for you
✨ Manage stress because stress hormones can increase sweating and hot flashes
✨ Wear breathable fabrics to reduce moisture buildup

If hot flashes and night sweats are contributing to sweating and odor changes, there are treatment options including:

✨ Non-hormonal options such as certain supplements like Vitex (chaste tree) for some women
✨ Prescription treatments like Veozah (fezolinetant) or Lynkuet (where appropriate)
✨ Estrogen replacement therapy for eligible women after discussing risks and benefits with a healthcare provider

Let’s normalize menopause conversations because women deserve answers, not embarrassment. 💜

🔥 Hot flashes are not “just a part of aging”… they are one of the most common symptoms women experience during perimenopause and menopause — and for many women, they can affect sleep, mood, confidence, and daily life.

In today’s video I’m talking about Lynkuet (elinzanetant), a newer non-hormonal option being studied for hot flash relief. Unlike Veozah (fezolinetant), which targets one receptor pathway (NK3), Lynkuet works on two pathways (NK1 and NK3 receptors) involved in temperature regulation and menopause symptoms.

Clinical studies have shown improvement in hot flashes as early as 7 days, with continued improvement over 12 weeks, including benefits with sleep for some women.

I also love seeing women like Gabrielle Union use their platform to talk openly about menopause and the things so many women quietly experience. When women with influence share their stories, it helps normalize the conversation and reminds us we don’t have to suffer in silence. 💜

Menopause conversations matter. Your symptoms matter. Your health matters.
