Episode #3.5, Chapters 25-30:
We are in the thick of it and the only way to get through this episode is to pair it with soul comforting foods. Have you ever had French Onion Noodle Casserole?? We hadn’t, but this recipe is now officially on our rotation list. So easy to whip together, bakes up in a flash, and satisfies your belly like a warm, cozy blanket on a cold autumn day. Check out the recipe for yourself @ https://www.plainchicken.com/french-onion-chicken-noodle-casserole/.

‘Tis the season, so of course we followed the casserole with tea and homemade maple sugar cookies with butter cream frosting. (Heather’s baking was perfection!)

Hope you enjoy!

Episode #3.4, Chapters 19-24:
Holy moly, Chapter 24 was the motherload of all foods delicious described so far in this book. For our meal, we went with the mushroom coriander soup and the roast beef, horseradish, and croissant sandwich. These two dishes paired insanely well! Please go try your favorite sandwich / food from Chapter 24 and report back to us!

Episode #3.3, Chapters 13 - 18: So we lied, we forgot to make grilled chicken sandwiches with mango on croissants. Instead we ate Easter dinner! Baked ham, creamed leeks, brussel sprouts, and French potato salad! We snacked on baguettes, Brie and cheddar cheeses, and Marcona almonds (the best!). We satisfied our sweet tooth with a coffee cake carrot cake, French macaroons, and pound cake with strawberries and fresh whipped cream. Lastly we got our libations on with French 75, peach Bellini, and Kir Royales!
