Every dive is a chance to explore and protect—but some everyday products we use can quietly harm the reefs we love.
Did you know?
🧴 Many sunscreens contain chemicals like oxybenzone and octinoxate that bleach coral.
🚿 Residues from shampoos, lotions, and detergents can disrupt marine ecosystems.
🛍️ Microplastics from gear or packaging can linger in reefs for decades.
What you can do:
🌿 Use "reef-safe" sunscreen
🧼 Rinse off lotions & products before diving
♻️ Choose eco-friendly dive gear & packaging
