Let’s start with an introduction, my name is J.P. Moynahan I was born & raised here in Spring, Texas. Attended Sam Houston State University from 1990 – 1994, started working in the oilfield while attending Sam Houston to pay for school. I have worked in the oilfield (Upstream oil & gas) for 30 years all over the world, now recently retired in July of 2019.
My 30 years of experience in trapping hogs started in 1990 in Huntsville, Texas while I was attending SHSU. A family friend had a ranch outside of Huntsville and asked if I could help with the feral hog problem on his ranch. Needing the extra cash, I was happy to help. I have always been an outdoors enthusiast, and this was fun and exciting as well as challenging. After college while working offshore oil & gas 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off gave me plenty of free time to trap hogs for friends and neighbors all-over south-east Texas. Eventually being asked by Harris county contract holder for feral hog control to train & educate the staff in tracking and trapping feral hogs.
A few years ago, I decided to put my hobby to work, now fully insured as an LLC we are contracting our services to private, commercial, and local municipalities. Every member of our team is trained in Tracking and Trapping feral hogs. We follow our safety processes and strive to learn from every experience in and out of the field.
