We work with so many different industries and hear some pretty funny stuff almost everyday.
For starters, it’s okay to be inspired but don’t let that “inspo” turn you into a hand-me-down anything. 🙅🏾‍♀️ Once you find art you like, try saving it in a folder or on a Pinterest board and find at least 3 other options. What brought your customers in is whatever makes YOU unique; not glitter or golds, etc.
Second, “less is more” only applies to summer time diets and Christmas sweaters round here. 🙇🏽‍♂️ Business cards are like mints. You might not always need them but on that ONE day you do, you’ll be glad you got extra. Also, when ordering things like business cards, post cards, really MOST offset printing, the greater the quantities then the lower the cost per piece. 😉💡
Lastly, the big bad CANVA elephant in the room. 🤦🏾‍♂️
Hear me out. I love CANVA. I really do. Love how easy it is to use, it’s free, and has a diverse skillset. The major problems with CANVA logos are you can never legally own that logo 😬 and, more often than not, you only get a non transparent, low quality photo of your logo. This makes it blurry when blown up, unable to vectorize for cutting & printing, and an overall unprofessional finish to your brand’s image.
🥴🥴🥴🥴 You deserve better than that.
