TPIS Chinese

There isn’t a better way to end the semester than with a field trip to Lucky Land. We had so much fun learning about the cultural history of China and playing around with the kids here. We were so proud when our students went up to the panda area and started to call them Xiong mao (panda). To top it off we went to the face masks and they started to name all the colors of the masks in Chinese! We are truly so amazed by how quick these kids have picked up Chinese and how much they have retained as well! It was a bittersweet moment to say goodbye to these amazing students, however we are glad that we will be seeing them next semester and continue to challenge our brains with some more classes on the Chinese language and culture! This Saturday, we not only learned how to speak mandarin, we also learned how to write Chinese characters ! Good job 👏 guys. I am so proud of everyone! What an amazing moment! We also had so much fun with all the activities! Did they remember all of the words of stationary? They could say it very well in the class! They can practice more at home by listening to the cd or by following my recordings! @ Cunae International School

We had the best time at The Children’s Lighthouse in The Woodlands last night. We got the chance to meet new kids and parents who were mesmerized by us writing their names in Chinese calligraphy! We also got the chance to see the children make their own versions of our Chinese opera masks! We are so happy that everyone at this event was so eager and excited to learn about our Chinese language and cultural classes! We also saw saw a lot of families who were interested in our upcoming China Trip! We are looking forward to doing more with this amazing children’s daycare! @ Children's Lighthouse

Come celebrate The Fall season with us at The Children Lighthouse! We will have fun activities such as face mask coloring and calligraphy writing! Located next to Cunae International School where we have our weekend classes!
