What an excellent night. I came back from Home Depot and noticed a tree down on Weethiemer Blvd. it was blocking a little less then half of the lane of the 2 north bound lanes. I searched for a chainsaw, but only came up with my sawzall. As I was cutting the tree free one of our awesome Fort Bend County sheriff’s showed up and blocked off the the lane with his vehicle. I got my truck up on the curb… but I didn’t have a rope. In steps Ben the new owner of with a chain and his son Benson to lend a hand! We got the tree out of the roadway and the crisis was avoided.
