Here’s the F-105G Thunderchief, Imagine it glinting on the tarmac, a steel bird ready for one last waltz with the clouds. She’s dressed up for the occasion, too: “Thuds Forever” scrawled boldly on her underwing drop tank, a tribute to the Air National Guard’s time flying these magnificent machines.
