1) Product limits are effective and working to help stabilize product availability.
2) In the case of any government shut down scenario, grocery stores are open there is no need to stockpile. Government won’t shut us down.
3) There isn’t a water emergency. There is no need to stockpile water. Our state water system is plentiful. Please Stop buying up bottled water so that we can use our trucks to get other items you need.
UPDATE- March 16th 8:45 AM
Texas has announced two provisions to increase grocery store deliveries
- Truck driver’s maximum work time as been lifted. HEB will increase the number of trucks delivering food to stores by 40%.
- State law didn’t allow trucks that transport wine to also transport non-alcohol products. That provision has been lifted.
- Cities and Towns are being asked to allow trucks to make deliveries on resident roads during daylight hours.
Guys, there’s a difference between store shelves and a supply chain.
Stores are being restocked and the County is making key travel provisions to make it easier for them to restock but no store can compete with the hysteria.
