Yesterday, our sweet daughter Aaliyah Irma Rose turned 4. 💜

Though she’s no longer with us, her love continues to shine, and we’re celebrating her life in a meaningful way: through a Book Drive for the NICU at Texas Children’s Hospital.

NICU families face long, emotional journeys. We remember them well, and we know how powerful even a simple story can be during those moments. That’s why we’re collecting 175 books, one for every NICU bed

𝐈𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐡 𝐈𝐫𝐦𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 🌸

Four years ago, our daughter Aaliyah Irma Rose came into the world and forever changed our lives. Though her time here was short, her love, strength, and spirit live on in everything we do.

Aaliyah spent most of her life in the NICU at Memorial Hermann. In those quiet, uncertain moments, reading to her became our way of bonding — of sharing hope, love, and connection. This book drive holds immense significance for us.

Each year around her birthday, we honor Aaliyah by donating books to families in the NICU. Last year, we collected 300 books. This year, our goal is 175 books for the NICU at Texas Children’s Hospital.

We’ve partnered again with Class Bookstore, offering two special books:
📖 One Love—a tribute to the love Aaliyah represents.
📖 Bradley Visits the Zoo—book by local author Tyrone Void, Jr.(English & Spanish)

Every book donated is a piece of Aaliyah’s legacy — a reminder that even in the NICU, love can be heard, felt, and read.
