The Ruby’s Experience
Here at Ruby's Home for Good, we are committed to creating interactions between people and horses that are good for BOTH (not just in service of the person).
It’s that very desire - to feel good with the horses, and have the horses feel good with us - that allows our veteran and youth participants to explore hard but essential skills for their well-being. Questions like -
How do I ask for what I need?
How do I set boundaries that keep me safe and healthy?
What is my role in creating a positive relationship with another?
What is the other (horse) needing from me?
These questions and more are explored regularly in our Wellness with Horses and Healing Trauma with Horses programs.
