Imagine this: you have spent the better part of your adult life honing the skills you need to succeed in your chosen field – real estate, catering, or hotel management. You have done everything “right”: you’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, attended the conferences, and even found a mentor with decades of experience to guide you.

And then, the unexpected happens.

You or someone who depends on you gets sick. Your company starts making changes that include layoffs. A poor choice at a low point in your life has difficult professional consequences. Or a global pandemic renders your century-old family business unsavable.

These are the kinds of issues WorkFaith clients face when they walk through our doors. Their stories are ones of hopelessness, desperation, and fear. They have nowhere else to turn.

We have the honor and the privilege to help them see 1) they are not alone (God sees them in their struggle, and so do we) and 2) there is a way forward.

• Networking involves action. In other words, it doesn’t just happen. For networking to take place, you have to do something.

• This something consists of interacting with others. Interacting can take place in many ways: face-to-face, over the phone, via email or text message, or Zoom.

• During this interaction, the goal is to exchange information. As the term suggests, that means information flows from both directions, which involves asking questions and telling stories.
