We thank and praise God that He has kept us thus far!!! We will be celebrating our 62nd wedding anniversary in January 2024.

Good evening Family and Friends,

May I say a big "Thank you" to the Lord who has preserved my darling through this operation and to all of you and many others who have inquired and prayed for him. Praise God for His goodness.

I took P.K. into the Princess Alexandra Hospital at 6.00a.m. and they would not let me stay. I received a call from a nurse at 8.50a.m. who said he was in surgery. I heard nothing further until about 4.40p.m. from an anesthetist who told me that it had been a very long and difficult surgery but had taken the gall bladder out. Apparently they had problems with the stone that was in the bile duct. I forgot to ask him if they got it out and what happened to the other two. He said my husband was in recovery and was able to talk. They had had to use extra anesthetic with a contraption down his throat to blow up the stomach in order to do the surgery and in so doing had knocked out one of his two front teeth!! However, they will remedy that possibly at a later stage. I haven't heard anything further. Maybe if he is feeling up to it he may try to call me later tonight.

I had called every hour from about 1.00p.m. to try to find out what was happening but no-one could tell me anything until the anesthetist called me so I was relieved to hear that he was o.k. He did not know how long P.K. will be in hospital.
