Along with other members of the Houston Woman Business Book Club, I am reading "American Moonshot" in August. Expecting it to be a good one!

For those of a certain age, I know you will remember where you were when you watched that first lunar landing on TV.

I was in my first post-college apartment in Baton Rouge, ready to start my first semester of grad school at LSU.

Where were you?

Today my job (and personal interest) will take me downtown to the Ballroom at Bayou Place to support the League of Women Voters of Houston's annual Political Pioneers Luncheon. Looking forward to seeing Judy Woodruff, a highly respected broadcast journalist I have admired for a very long time. Big thanks to Joni Baird hosting a group of us!
