Reminiscing today...continue to Rest in Beats, y'all

We spent 9 days in The French Riviera (Nice, Cannes). Then we spent 8 hours in Turkey (Istanbul, Taksim). The juxtaposition was profiund and surreal.

One day, we are surrounded by super yachts, super cars, and the super rich. The very next day, we were approached by a little girl begging for change in Taksim Square at 3:30am. She was likely a Syrian refugee.

Getting outside of the US has quickly afforded me a much sharper perspective on concepts like "success","poverty","wealth","pain",etc. I can not unsee it (and I wouldn't if I could).

There is so much to share, and in time, I will be sharing more. Just know that this experience has been transformative.

Back to getting over this jet-lag...

Big shout out to the FREEDOM team. It is indeed an honor to have been a part of this endeavor.
