I'm truly honored and deeply humbled to have the full support of Mr. Pedro Valencia, one of my Democratic primary opponents from the March 3 election.

On Election Night, before the results even came in, one of the very first things I did was pick up the phone and call Mr. Valencia personally. I thanked him for running a clean and respectful race and for stepping forward with a genuine desire to serve our community. During that conversation, he shared kind words with me that I will never forget. What stood out most was the sincerity behind every word. It wasn’t political rhetoric — it was genuine, heartfelt, and rooted in a shared love for our community, faith, and family.

And before anyone asks…no, we are not twin brothers 😂 However, we are absolutely brothers united in the shared goal of building a better Fort Bend County and a better nation for everyone.

Listen...Endorsements are always appreciated, but what means even more is when someone believes in your leadership enough to publicly encourage others to trust you as well. That level of confidence and support carries a different kind of weight, and I do not take it lightly.

Mr. Pedro Valencia has already made meaningful contributions to our community in many ways outside of elected office, and that speaks volumes about his character and commitment to service. From March 3 until today, he has continued to stand firmly in support of this campaign, and for that, I am sincerely grateful.
