Today, we mourn the loss of an American Theatre, Television, and Movie Icon—James Earl Jones. A master of his craft, his deep, resonant voice, and commanding presence left an indelible mark on every role he portrayed. I will never forget the first time I saw him in a PBS showing of August Wilson's FENCES. His portrayal of Troy Maxson was nothing short of mesmerizing. It was at that moment I realized the true power of storytelling and the profound impact an actor can have on an audience.

James Earl Jones taught us what it means to be fearless, authentic, and committed to the craft of acting. His legacy will forever inspire us to elevate our art, speak our truths, and keep pushing boundaries on stage and screen. Rest in power, Mr. Jones.
