Today, we remember April 21, 1836, San Jacinto Day. The day a determined group of Texans changed the course of Texas history at San Jacinto. San Jacinto Day is a reminder that liberty is never guaranteed, and it must be protected, strengthened, and passed on. I am proud to be a Texan, and I committed to doing my part to uphold the legacy.
