Final days remain to submit nominations for the 2026 ISSA Fellows Program.

ISSA Fellows and Distinguished Fellows represent a select group of professionals whose sustained leadership, service, and contributions have helped advance both the cybersecurity profession and the ISSA community.

With Fellow recognition limited to just 2% of ISSA membership and Distinguished Fellow recognition limited to 1%, these honors reflect years of impact, commitment, and leadership.

Many of the most deserving candidates will never nominate themselves. Their recognition begins when a colleague, peer, or fellow member takes the time to put them forward.

If someone comes to mind, don't wait.

🗓 Nominations for 2026 recognition close June 30 at 5:00 PM ET.

Save the date! September 10, 2026, in Colorado Springs during the Peak Cyber Symposium for an evening celebrating the leaders, chapters, and organizations making an impact across our profession.

What data could an attacker learn about your organization without ever accessing personal or classified information?

The featured article in the May/June 2026 ISSA Journal explores the concept of implicative data and why security teams need to think beyond traditional data classification models.

As analytics and AI-driven systems continue to evolve, seemingly harmless data can reveal sensitive insights when combined, analyzed, or viewed in context. The article introduces the Implicative Data Lens, a framework designed to help security professionals identify hidden risks that often go unnoticed.
